April Tour Review Round Up

Well, how was it out there? Pretty special by all accounts, with Adele cementing her recorded reputation with an amazing set of UK tour dates.

The tour kicked off in Leeds with Adele treating the crowd to Hometown Glory from her début before launching into a set of spine tingling moments, great review from the Telegraph of the show here.

From there she conquered at the ABC in Glasgow with a glowing four star review from The Scotsman, again mentioning amongst the highlights Hometown Glory, Chasing Pavements and her great take on Bob Dylan’s Make You Feel My Love.

Manchester next and to The Academy, Citylife make a point of her spot on choice of covers, Dylan again and The Cure’s brilliant Love Song and a killer encore of Someone Like You and Rolling In The Deep.

The HMV Institute in Birmingham witnessed that special Adkins magic, with Birmingham’s Express and Star, The Shropshire Star and The Birmingham Mail all giving her the thumbs up!

Southampton’s Guildhall was the penultimate leg with Bournemouth Daily Echo going with spellbinding and Mintsouth raving about her performance, the band, the choice of tracks, the stage decoration, pretty much everything.

For the final show of the tour it was true Homecoming Glory as Adele put on a special show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire (O2 Empire Shepherds Bush) for her native fans. The News of the World had a great review, praise her to the high heavens, commenting how she performs the opener from behind the curtain

And that’s it, a 100% certified smash success! All eyes to September for her grand UK tour, including that much anticipated Albert Hall show.
